Biographie: Nicolas Laporte

In January 2008 Nicolas Laporte was appointed Chief Financial Officer in Cetelem in Russia.

Nicolas Laporte brings more than 11 years experience in financial management with world’s leading companies to the role. Prior to joining Cetelem Nicolas Laporte worked for Ford Motor Company and Ford Credit (1996-2007) in France, UK and Russia where he made a career from a financial analyst to the Finance director of Ford Russia in Moscow. In this position he was fully responsible for a wide range of financial management activities such as financial analysis and strategic planning, internal control, US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Prior to this Nicolas Laporte worked in the capacity of Financial Analysis and Planning Manager (2001-2005) for Ford France in Paris where he lead financial controls of the French activities including coordination of the revenue forecast and budget control, providing of financial and strategic support to the local management team, in order to achieve sales and profitability targets.

In 2000–2001 he took a position of Central Reporting & Consolidation Senior Analyst in Ford Credit Europe (London). In previous three years he worked for Ford Credit France in Paris being responsible for different finance activities such as financial analysis, business planning and internal control.

Nicolas Laporte graduated from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (Paris) in 1995 and terminated a Master Degree in Finance from ESCP-EAP in 2005. Nicolas speaks fluent French (mother tongue), English, and Spanish and learns Russian.
